Robert LaFontaine's 1989 20th Anniversary Turbo Trans Am - rare, unique and FAST!
This rare example of a 1989 Turbo TA belongs to Robert LaFontaine. His car is #799 of 1547 built. These cars were built by Pontiac for teh 1989 Indy Pace car, but have the famous LC2 Buick turbocharged powerplant . Slight differences exist between this motor and their Buick cousins, most notably, the Pontiac uses the FWD heads, due to space constraints between the shock towers.
