Featured Car - Rob Baker's 1987 Grand National

They look so innocent, don't they?

Rob bought his 1987 Grand National recently from a gentleman who drove it daily after he bought it from the original owner. The original owner of the car bought it new and stored it for years without driving it. The gentleman Rob purchased it from clocked about 57000 miles on it. Though he kept it in great condition, he didn't keep up on the scheduled maintenance, so Rob "rescued it:.

The car currently has 63000 miles due to the fact that it is his daily driver. Rob has wanted a GN for the last 14 years and finally realized his goal of owning such a rare beauty. Rob looked high and low before he stumbled across this one close to his home!

The car is a fully loaded hard top car, with some dress up and minor bolt ons. Rob is in for a long and fun relationship with this car! He still gets excited to look out his window and see it gleaming in his driveway.

Rob says he's working on doing fine tuning and Spring Cleaning before he takes it to the track.
