I finally have a new time slip to report for the hot air, thought you might like to see

r/t .772
60 1.530
330 4.491
1/8 7.033
MPH 96.34
1000 9.255
1/4 11.146
MPH 119.14
This was on a stock 3.8 block girdled, stock crank, rods and trw pistons, heads just ported and intake gasket ported. I run a stephs evac pump and an electric water pump on my set up. I have pictures if I can find out how to post on this site.

It can be done....

Thanks I'm pretty excited about it. Not too bad for a car that weighs 3765

I think there might be one or two on this site under hot airs rule for recipes. I don't have a space to upload. I'll see what I can come up with.

Middle of first page I have another car and motor shot under turbo6x2 (http://www.turbobuick.com/forums/hot-air-non-intercooled-tech/212324-post-your-hotair-pics.html)

Hope this helps

What's the address for photobucket? Girdle is RJC go to their site, but you will have to have the block machined for this. Stephs from Jegs and I believe it's a meizer electric water pump which finish line motors sells.

I'm not sure there's a trick, just a lot of time spent tuning the car and making sure the fuel curve was there. As far as combo basically as listed on the post. I do have a recipe on this site under hot airs rule. However there have been changes to that since it was posted back in the day. One thing is the heads I'm running now are just ported and cleaned up not big valved. The crank is still stock the rods are still stock I believe this one has trw pistons. The turbo is a hybrid from John Craig at Limitied Engineering. The transmission is Brian Hofer from Michigan and the convertor is the real Art Carr non lock up 3200-3400. I also have H&R parts motor mounts, trans mount and rear sway bar. I run Mickey Thompson drag radials on centerline rims. The exhaust is atr and the down pipe is a custom 3 inch we had done. There's the stephs evac pump, the electric water pump and a gasket matched intake on the car. I left on the foot brake with 13#'s of boost for these passes. I still have the alcohol to play with and see what that nets me. All in all a lot of hard work and research with a lot of innovation by my husband. We eliminated all my exhaust leaks in the past couple of years with some mods my husband came up, had my headers surfaced ground so that they laid flat. Just a lot of stuff to finally creep up on the tune and go for it. The car weights 3765 with me in and full tank of gas as well. So, it's not like it light either. Full interior, 6 point roll cage and all metal body still.

Kinda late but it's photobucket.com. just upload and make the code and paste it to the site or blog or whatever, preview it to make sure it comes up.

Actually Bweavy from G body parts is in the process of making a 3 inch down pipe for the hot airs available in 60 days which is very affordable at about 395.00. Mine was built on my car and without your car here it would not be an easy task to build. Not to mention it's stainless and not cheap either. Thanks for the compliments.

Yeah, your right, hmm wow 300 buicks for a down pipe, sure it will be nice, looks like i can make that one you have but will take some time. If i go with that you think since i have a 2.5 cat i should get a 3'' right??

I run without a cat but I would have to say yes since you'll have a 3 inch down pipe. I would think you'd have to have a 3 inch opening to attach to
