Stall speed

What the stall speed on a stock converter? What would be a good converter when using a TA-49? Who sell a good one?

Stock is around 2200 RPM (the more horsepower/torque you make down low, the higher it'll stall). I've been able to see 2800-3000 RPM "flash stall" on a hard launch on a pure stock converter.

A TA49 will work fine with a stock converter, but a 2600 RPM converter will allow for a little faster stall and won't hurt street manners.
