Does anyone know the GM part # for the 86-87 heater core?? I looked in the part number section of the techical resources and it isnt there. I also looked for the part at GMPartsdirect.com and they show 84-88(?) A/C or non-A/C heater cores, but don't list the part #. Also found a claimed NOS core on ebay right now, but no part # there either... I would prefer to get that big heavy brass unit as opposed to an aluminum autozone/etc generic... anyone??
Thanks!

PS - WOOOHOOOO!!!!! GNTType is BAAAACCCKKKK!!

Pretty sure even the aftermarket ones should be brass. I will look up the part number later in the morning.

Good luck finding a GM part like that for a car that is 20+ years old. Might be worth getting a good core from a junk car and then getting a radiator shop to rod it out. The 86-87 will be the same as any V6 or V8 Regal of the era, and likely all G-bodies. The 84-85 turbo cars had a different one.
