Fuel Pressure Problem

Today I Installed An Adjustable Regulator, Well We Cant Get The Pressure Down No Lower Than 47 Pounds. We Took The One Of My Buddies Car That We Know Works And It Was The Same. He Thinks It Might Be A Pinched Line??? Anyone Else Ever Have This Problem?? Have Another Problem But Will Keep The Issues Seperate..

I would measure the vacuum/boost on the regulator line. See if it fluxuates with throttle position.

I'd also look for a plugged fuel return line. Try "teeing" on the return line with a hose to a bucket.

You could also use a hand vacuum pump on the regulator to control the pressure. If you can control the pressure with the hand vacuum you've isolated the problem to the engine's vaccum/boost line. It goes to the back of the manifold below the turbo compressor out port.
