Headers

[Fast_t_type]

I want to get a set of headers for my 86 T Type. I was thinking of getting them off e-bay but I recall someone on here saying there not that great. They are paper thin and come from China???? So what should I look for in the header I'm going to but to know that it will be a good one. Like tube wall thickness and what grade of stainless to buy. Stuff like that?????

The offshore headers are a gamble, and usually more of a miss than a hit.

The TA headers are very nice. Recently helped tidy up an install of a set. VERY nicely made. Very proudly priced (especially the stainless ones) but you get what you pay for. My only issue with them was in getting the V-band clamps to close. Tweaking the threaded portion a bit made things work just fine.

I've heard the Poston units are nice, but have never seen them. Don't believe they are stainless.

The TA headers are like the stock one? Will they work with TH down pipe?

the TA headers will work with a TH DP..

I highly recomend getting the TA headers.. not the knock offs, unless you can mod them a little

They are a little larger diameter, and a better grade of stainless.
