I would like to stay stock. I'm converting an 84/85 to use the 86/87 ECM and the word is that it's best to also change to the 86/87 MAF. I'd like to stay stock just to get the thing converted and running well. Then maybe I'll get more high perfromance.

How much would you want for your MAF?
Thanks.

silver t............ i know you can get into 10s with them but they are very unpredictable, its makes way more sense to spend the money and convert it over the car is much better off, but if you like those stock ones knock your self out :banghead:

Gn guy, make me an offer i just took it off the car working, 4 gms at idle 255@WOT working fine

The original stock mafs from GM work fine, it's when they crap out and you go to get a rebuilt stock maf, most after market rebuilt stock mafs are not properly calibrated, from what I've experienced , most run lean at WOT, this is why people upgrade to the translator and LT1 maf or LS1 maf.
