how realistic is the 10 sec recipe for 86 and 87's? is it for high tens low 11's or is it a definite 10 sec car?

Which recipe? There are 4 recipe's for 10's on the site.

The one from Tim Stockwell...that is the result of some amazing tuning, some skills (and perhaps some luck) you're not likely to stumble upon. The Harrington and Hartline recipes are proven. The Carter recipe is as well, and a bit more detailed in the article.

With proper tuning I don't see why the results listed can't be duplicated. Attention to detail is going to be the key, however. If you've never worked on a TR, or do not even have your's in the mid to low 12s, the recipes might prove quite a challenge.

I dont meen to sound like an idiot here, but i am new to TR's. What is a recipe? My car has a 10 second recipe. Is that 1/4 mile time?
