i have a 83 turbo regal. before i got the car somebody tried to saw the part off and now i'm trying to find a replacement part. when i ordered it from auto part store they sent me one for a non-turbo which didn't fit.

Having the GM part number might aid in the search, even if GM no longer stocks the part. See if it crosses to any other vehicles. Although we all know that is unlikely with the Buick turbo cars.

Check on rockauto.com. Tomco seems to make or refurb these.

Always check eBay, as many places selling warehouses full of old parts will clear them out there,
