Going to the track What should it run???

As many of you know my first and last time at the track was a disaster as far as performance.

This time around the car has a bunch of new parts and NO bugs.
The mods are.
1-TT Alky Chip
2-42 Lbs Injectors
3-Hot Wired 340M, FP reg.
4-Razors Alky Kit
5-Rjc power plate
6-Stock IC with a Dutt-neck
7-RJC Boost controller
8-TE-60 With a Garret exhaust housing
9-Stock DP with dual 2.5 exhaust
10-Stock D5
11-Street tires

I hope to get out of the 17s this time around, What do you guys think?

A lot will depend on:
- How high the boost will be.
- How finely tuned things are.
- What tires are being used. (DOT sticky tires or regular radials)

A boost launch on drag radials with high boost will yield much different results than a street idle launch, using pump gas run on regular street radials.

Depends on traction ..

I would THINK it'd be a low 12 if tuned very conservatively with maybe around a 2.0 sixty foot (due to tires). Maybe 111-112 trap speed.

I'm with Ken here... You need some good TIRES.... By the way, how much does your car weigh??? Tom G.

I think its really going to depend on the boost. If it is ~22-25, then I see low 12s. If it is ~15-20, then I'm not sure you'll be out if the 13s. The (somewhat) large turbo, stock converter, and (probably) heavy car, plus street tires making for no-boost launches tell me that it has to be all top end and a soft launch. The larger turbos really have a better range at higher boost levels. I think if you don't tune for that range, you won't get the most out of it.

So far 20 Psi of boost with Zero Knock.
I am going to push it a little bit more at the track.
