My Powermaster does not work properly and I was thinking of converting to a regular power brake system. Is there a source that has everything needed for the conversion short of going to the junk yard? Also, is the hot wire to the powermaster supposed to be hot with the ignition off, as mine is?

Thanks,
Jim :)

Why not get a rebuilt vacuum master cylinder and check valve from your favorite parts source, and the vacuum manifold from Caspers? The pedal for the vacuum system...that may have to remain a yard part. GM High Tech was suggesting people redrill the PowerMaster pedal arm and move the pin...I highly suggest against that. Caveat Emptor.
