To my knowledge, these drums may have never been off the car since new. I've tried a hammer, I've soaked them with PB Blaster (for a week now), I've tried a MAPP torch. Better than Propane, but I don't have access to anything hotter. They still won't budge.

How the :flamer: do I get these drums off?

Try this, With the rear of the car supported very well, and the wheels off... Put your lug nuts on, not tight but on so they won't spin off and the drum will stay in place, run the car in forward and slam on the brakes and then in reverse and do the same... Do this several times, then stop and see if the drums have loosened from the axle... Tap them with the hammer again and repeat... Tom G.

Have you tried backing the shoes off a bit? Might have to remove a rubber plug in the backing plate to reach the star adjuster.

Well the driveline and fuel system are out of the car, so that idea might be difficult.

Already tried the adjuster. I'm sure it's not catching on the shoes, it's too "solid". There is no drag on the drums whatsoever.
