sorry for double post, but I put this in the wrong section earlier.


hey fellas
I have a blown headgasket on passenger side.
do you guys think this would be a good time to make the change to the champion iron heads, since the heads need to come off and be re-suefaced anyway. and if so what would ya'll get the matching ported intake or would yall just have the factories re-worked. My thought is the champion iron would cover me in any future upgrade I might do. Any imput will be appreciated.

You would not be the first person that has made this change for this reason at this time. I would do the intake at the same time. That way they will be matched. Champion's work is of excellent quality and very hard to beat, let alone match.

i agree, its a very worthy upgrade.
what headgaskets and hardware " studs or bolts" are you gonna use?

I decided to wait on heads since I missed the 10% off sale at fullthrottle. Headgasket are the rjc and apr head bolts
