I have been looking at the American Racing Torque Thrust M wheels--they are available in 17"x8" with 4.5" backspacing. Any input on this sizing? Is anyone running these wheels? Do they fit well/can you post pic's with tire sizes if possible--Thanks, Dave

OK, talked to some vendors at the race and performance expo this weekend and I can get the Torque Thrust classic in a 17x8 in the front and a 7x9.5 in the rear. I just need to find out the proper backspacing to go with--any help?

I have 17x9.5 in the rear with 4.75" backspacing. It's tight and the depending on the tire you choose it may not fit. I run a 315/35 Nitto drag radial.

Sounds very tight. Depending on how well the rear was aligned, rubbing on the stock inner rear fenderwells might be hard to avoid.

Are you running that backspace in the front? Sort of doubt if would fit. Or at least doubt it would allow you to turn very tightly.
