What can be done about interior

I have a 84 t-type I've been told it's pretty rare.. Now my question is, what can I do about my interior? It's stock leather now, but I was thinking of adding a suede headliner will that decrease the value ?

Headliners are pretty cheap so if you put a suede one in and decide to sell the car later just swap it back to original.

If the car is not a 100-point award winning restored original show car, I would not worry about it.

... and unfortunately, rarity does not always equal valuable...

The "preintercooler" or "hot air" cars usually command less money in the open market than the intercooled cars and even within the 86/87 intercooled cars, the 87 usually can ask a few more $$$. It's about perception, unfortunately...

Drive the T and enjoy it ... because unless it's a Dupont Registry 100 point show car, it's probably worth <$8K
