85 to 86-87 conversion

does anyone think its worth it to convert to an 86-87 intercooled conversion.im new to all of this so an honest opinion wud help alot hav luved ford mustangs but these gn are very addicting.

if you goal is to go faster, yes convert to 86-87

84-85s can be made plenty fast but it takes MUCH MORE effort

You can also keep your 84-85 set up and add an InterCooler to it.

There isn't any premade kit for the conversion... you basically need a wrecked donor car and do a transplant.

As far as intercooling a hot air car, Spearco used to make a kit and there are some DIY articles in the tech section.
