Decent brand. Are you 0.030" over-bored (since that's what these are for)?

I'd personally go file fit to set the end gaps properly. The plasma moly coated top ring is a good choice. Chrome is sometimes better, if this is meant to primarily be a high boost race engine.

For 99% of us, the moly plasma coated top ring is fine.

Yes the engine NEEDS to go 30 over
this is for a true DD (150 plus miles a month) and run EASY 11.50s 3 times a year at the weight of 3800#, the car will have the race tune all year long.
