Scott, i found this thread and thought I'd try here also. My 87 won't start either. It actually starts for about 3 sec then dies once then doesn't even try. The last time it did this was this weekend after replacing the batt. Before that it did it about a year ago and has sat ever since. Miss my toy. I do have an OTC scanner (thanks uncle Bob) if that would help.TY Ken
