Fuel filter location (was: newbie turbo t type)

Hi guys new here just recently accuried a 85 t type now it turns over and gets spark but I have a feeling there's no fuel going in so I'm having the damnest time finding the fuel filter can someone chime in on where its located I've look everywhere and can't find it and I know when someone tells me ill feel stupid but hey whatever thanks

Hi the fuel filter is located under the left rear tire wheel well on the frame rail. No problem my mechanic friend said these cars did not have one. untill I proved him wrong.:neener: Happy motoring.

Be really careful not to cross thread the filter or kink the line... it's easy to do because of the location.

Alright so just to be correct the fuel filter is on the left side so the passenger side right

Correct. Toward the rear of the passenger's area. Almost in the "corner" of the frame before it comes in for the rear wheel.
