hey everone , i got a 85 gn

but whats weird is the t-tops

yes they leak but there not the same style as seen on other g bodys

my hurst olds has the style where the pins slide out into holes in the roof

but this 85 gn has feet that hinge out when the handle is tighted

so i was told there were changed once but from what kind of car

i just redid the headliner and that was the original one fabric all the way to the front ,,

hope some one here can fill me in

Sure sounds like the "Hurst Hatch" style tops that the early F Body cars used. I wonder if they were something only on the earlier cars ... or an aftermarket conversion?

A good aftermarket place would have used the original headliner.

You should be able to tell by looking at the RPO sticker in the trunk ... it should have CC1 for the "hatch roof"...

i checked the rpo does not show cc1

i never seen something like this, not a typical g car ttop,

i have every recepit on the car since 86 and is shows the weather strips
changed but i ll have to check into the numbers

thanks
