Check under the drivers' front area of the engine compartment. Near #1 cylinder and roughly behind the A/C compressor there should be two connectors: black and green. Both should be empty, and NOT plugged into one another.

Is that the way they are?

If the boost gauge isn't working, first check to see the MAP on the passenger side inner fender is plugged in and the vacuum line to it is connected properly.

If that checks out, then it's pretty common for these instrument panels to develop problems with the traces and/or the driver for the display. Casper's can fix it for you.

i have another question...on passenger side where rubber line runs off turbo into a little plastic box attached to the first bolt topside valve cover with two wires[plug] and suppose to be two nipples ....one nipple is broken off...the line from turbo is to the one not broken..the one broken is open not capped off should there be something attached at this point...maybe a T fitting connecting the two lines i hooked up between MAP and line off throttle body...im just asking..is this some kinda boost referance port??...thanks in advance

The "box" is your wastegate solenoid. That controls your boost to some extent. One port goes to the turbo and wastegate nipples, the other is left open to relieve pressure. From the factory there was a little foam filter on it.

As long as the port is open and not blocked, it is fine.
