ok i own an 86' GN an while at the track i could only manage a 8.991 with my non-limited slip set up i have on the car, i need a limited slip differencial so i can get traction when i launch. anyone have a particular place they have gotton a kit from? i wanna replace all the internals.

Putting in a carrier isn't child's play. To be done right it takes tools and expertise that most of us don't have. I know I don't.

I would recommend using the stock 'clutch' type Eaton differential vs. the aftermarket cone type. (i.e. Auburn) The former is rebuildible and the latter is not. If you can't get a stock G80, they are now making Eatons for aftermarket sale again. See http://www.traction.eaton.com/ for some info. I think they are available from Summit, and your favorite TR vendors.

Be sure to have it installed and set up at a reputable driveline shop. And don't get talked into higher gear ratios.
