Can you explain exactly what was done, for how long, and what speed/gear/boost etc. was being used?

stepped on it in third for little over 1/5 not quite 1/8..
speed was 79 acording to SM..
BOOST was at 12psi when i got off excelarator...
stopped car and left it running hit the recall 822/ 11.3
maybe did not stay on it long enough just was curious on the numbers

Get a modern chip (from a good TR vendor - Turbo Tweak, for instance), and insure that WOT boost does not go over 15 PSI.

Use good gas. Good exhaust. Set fuel pressure correctly.

It makes a difference. A big difference.

Even with a bad chip that I had at first, I lost a full 1.4 seconds off my 1/4 mile ET. (COMPLETELY stock otherwise.) Probably would have been much better with a modern chip, scan tool, etc. if I knew what I was doing then.

I'm having similar problems.
What is good fuel pressure?

At idle mine is about 30 and it goes up when i get on it.
i just put in a fresh tank of 93 octane and its still doing it.

I'm kind of stuck, i dont know where to start troubleshooting.

1) Please start a new thread in Driveability / Troubleshooting
2) See the "Quick Reference" regarding pressure targets
3) Check your pressure with the line off at idle to read it properly

11.2 could be a "burst knock" event on the sudden throttle opening/and or gear shift or converter lock up. If that's the case, you need to watch it and see if it "walks out of it" ... i.e. the knock goes away quickly after the initial event.

However, if conversely it is knock that steadily worsens during the run, then get out of it immediately and start trouble shooting.

The snapshot doesn't really tell us enough. You need to see what happened as a function of time.
