Phil, What is your ultimate plan??? Great running and performing street and a trip to the track once in a while??? Looks like a great project car... Good luck... Tom G :tup:

In all honestly we are gonna push the stock motor as far as it will go.. 10 sec :drive:passes are what im shooting for.. Then start building a real engine.
It will be a street driven car :swerve:, with a HIGH PSI tune and alky.

update.. first trip to the track
12.70 @ 116
2.5 60ft.. The stock converter is killing it. Wouldnt build any boost at the line.
Will post some videos in a new thread later

Like the prop rod. :tup:

Turbo looks pretty big. What is it?
Prop rod =1/2 flex head breaker bar
Turbo = PT61
Car still has stock converter and intercooler, only mod done to the engine is a hemco plenum

Keller

The 116 is pretty strong. Once the converter and all get sorted out, there should be no problem getting quickly down into the low 11s.

Still with stock IC right now?

PaCemkr86
10-15-2012, 11:26 AM
Yes using stock intercooler but lots of alky

Phil,

Are you building a monster under the hood Phil??? Is this going to be set up for all out race or strictly for the streets???
