I Bought This El Camino With A 87 Gn Motor In It And I Wanted To Clean Out The Engine Oil Cause The Oil Gets Dirty Fast, Whats A Good Thing To Do? Someone Said Tranny Fluid, But I Dont Wanna Hurt The Turbo.

Why not just do regular oil changes? (i.e. Every 3000 miles) The car has an oil cooler (or at least the motor/radiator did originally...) and should be able to handle it fine. What's the worry?

Tranny fluid in the motor is NOT a good idea.

if you are running the cheap regular oil, then you should run a decent synthetic- my 84 T killed the regular Valvoline i put in it when i got it running last year after about 200 miles- the oil turned a really black shade of black and had the consistency of water. i put Mobil 1 in it, and it looked good for the rest of the summer and after nearly 5000 miles.
