i'm a 16 year old nonturbo v6 buick regal owner. i want to make it a fast drag car but it has very little power, so i want to stick every little bit of power to the ground.
about a couple of months ago my brother bought me some new tires and rims. they are 15/7 rims with firestone fire hawk indy 500 215/55/15. they make my car grab a lot better.

i want to get a set of drag tires would it be a good idea?

The 15x7 wheels are a good idea. But those tires are awfully small in diameter. Just over 24". Doesn't your car have a sort of 'low rider' look?

Something like the BF Goodrich Drag Radials would work fine for your car. Most of the TR owners use something like the 235/60-15 for a 'stock' car. A 205/50-15 or 225/50-15 from their 'sport compact' Drag Radial line might match your other tires in size better, but I've always figured those were constructed more for front wheel drive cars.

You might also look at the new Mickey Thompson Drag Radial 235/60-15.
