I've read the directions on the site http://www.gnttype.org/techarea/images/Adj_wastegate.JPG, but I am freakin horrible with asking for parts at the parts store. I see that I'm supposed to thread both ends of the arms with a 1/4" -20 die, but what size pipe coupler do I ask for at the parts store, and does the pipe coupler attach to the 1/4" nuts? How do I "rejoin" them? Are they welded together or something? Is the pipe coupler already threaded on the inside? I know these are really lame questions, but I don't know jack about this kind of stuff.

The pipe coupler better have a 1/4-20 thread inside, too. Otherwise, it'll never hold on to the cut ends of the wastegate rod! Its just like a piece of threaded 'hex' stock. The nuts are just threaded up against it (same thread, of course) tight on the 'bellows' end and loosned 'when needed' on to pop the swing arm off the flapper end and adjust the boost. (i.e. adjust the length)

Somewhat clear?
