stock stereo

quick question. providing i have new, high quality speakers, and a good quality cassette, how much worse will my stock stereo sound over the current kenwood cd player i have now. would anyone know? dont tell me its just that cassettes sound crappy overall, cuz my brother has a ton of high quality stereo equipment, and he mixed me up some super remastered metal dioxide cassettes that sound every bit good, if not better than any cd youve ever heard. but other than that, about the power output and all of that stuff. (which ive no clue about) would my stock stereo be that much worse?

It will sound like crap, mine did! Compared to an aftermarket stereo you most likely won't like it
