86 GN w/GNX dash

just installed GNX dash, and can see temperature. live in s.cal. desert, car runs around 205 degrees with air on. where should it run? have ordered new Griffin radiator , as this car has 40M miles and probably original radiator, I felt new radiator would be at the least,insurance.

Wow...40 million miles has got to be some sort of record!

I'll bet the Griffin unit probably lacks a tranny cooler, oil cooler, or both.

The temperature will depend on the fan turn on temperature, which is controlled in the chip. It will also depend on the thermostat. I believe stock is 195 degree, so 205 is probably not out of line if that is what you have.
