View Full Version : correct guage wireing

Were ready now for installing our guages - warter temp. oil pressure, knock,
boost, etc. Wrenching went very well but i'm not good at all when it comes to
electrical. I know where to run the wires to but i'm not sure about what size
wire is going to be safe enough to use for all an should i use fuses for each?????
Any help would sure be appreciated. Thanks alot x1349x

The instructions that came with the gauges usually give a good general idea. There shouldn't be any need for fuses in the gauge circuit. Make sure you hook the lighting up to a fused source (I like to use the light circuit on the back of the radio ... that way it dims when you dim your dash).
