paint wont work

I just puchased a gn that has a metal colored front mounted intercooler. It is easily visible through the grill. How can I color it black without clogging the air inlets. Thanks

Ya dont want to mess with it. That messes with the heat exchanging abilities. Im assuming its aluminum though..If you must, try anodization.

You can also use radiator paint ... apply it thinly and it won't hurt heat transfer ability.
