The steering wheel in my 87' is junk! I am trying to figure out my options for replacing it. A new one or even a good used one will run my between $150-200. I found one on ebay out of a 1984 T-Type in great shape, but is this one the same as the one in my 87 GN? Finally, can an interior shop re-wrap my stock steering wheel or is this going to be more expensive than it is worth? What have you all done about your steering wheels?

The leather covered wheels were used in lots of GM cars. There are some minor differences between them, though, so don't use one if you're interested in "Show", it will cost you some points. But they feel the same, and they will fit. Most folks won't be able to tell the difference. Most any of the "T" Buicks had a similar wheel.
