The drivetrains are the same as long as they are the same year.

Only the wheels, and apperance. Resale of GN will always be better. That's what people want, that's what gets peoples attention. T-type is a sleeper. T-types will be cheaper to buy, but will not hold value as long as GN.

GNs also have a rear spoiler, Ts do not. (Save for the WH1 cars - rare black/silver two-tone - that included it from the factory.)

What do you mean will not hold there value??The value of ALL these cars continues to rise. albeit a GN's value continues to climb faster. The t-type be no means is losing value :)

i love t-types! i have a rare Riviera T-type, an 85 owned by the coach of the Denver Nuggets. But i think inflation is rising faster than the value of most all T-types. Depends on how you look at it. Gn could be called an investment in the true sense of the word. Just buy what you like, enjoy the ride. Cars should not be for making money. I did not buy my GN thinking about resale, I just like them. I like t-types also, but my wife does not. ?

I think there is a slight weight difference too?

only the wheels make the t-type lighter. But that is a very good thing. rotating mass makes a big difference. i have lighter, wider wheels on my GN, as do most people.

My T has Aluminum Brake drums, and aluminum bumper supports.

Aluminum brake drums seem to be found on cars that came WITHOUT posi rear ends. (i.e. no G80) The aluminum bumper supports are something of a mystery...but I'm glad I have 'em! (VD6 & VD7)
