My scanmaster in my 87 TR doesn't seem to be reading cc at idle. When the car is moving, it reads fine. At a stop it stays at whatever count last appeared.
I don't know if it has anything to do with another strange thing that the car has been doing lately. Every so often at idle, the car acts like someone disconnected the battery for a split second, lights dim, it seems like it will stall, but doesn't. The check engine light blinks once and the car resumes idle. This one's got me stumped...bad o2?...ecm? It seems to reset the scanmaster, blm 128 int 128. Thanks.

The lack of CC is probably a failing O2 sensor.

The other problem sounds more like a grounding problem or wiring problem.

Check the ground from the battery to the bottom of the turbo bracket, the positive battery cable where it passes under the header against the frame (which lots of times melts the cable insulation causing gremlins), the fusible links on the front of the starter soleniod, and the connectors on the top of the ECM.
