My 86t Has A 160 Thermostat In It. My Temp Seems To Be Running From 185-190 In Florida Traffic And At The Track Wait In Line 190 To 200. Are These Temps To High.

Certainly could be better.

Does your cooling fan come on? Chip turn-on temp for the cooling fan will be a big factor.

What is the condition of the radiator?

Seems normal if the fan is operating correctly. One interesting thing I have noticed is when my mechanical gauge reads 195, my scanmaster is reading only 185. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Different sensors in different locations. Plus, one or both may simply not be accurate. They are less than 10% apart in their readings. More like close to 5%.

The Chip Is Set To Have Fan Running Until 30mph And Then Shuts Off.
The Fan Then Comes On At 185. The Internals Of Radiator Is Clean And External Is Also Good. I'm Pretty New To The Turbo Six Crew,so I'm Still Trying To Get Some Base Line Info.

Get a chip that turns on at 160-165 and the problem will be solved.
