I Just Bought A 86t And Have Some Paper Work Of Past Work Done On The Car By The Past Owners. Within The Last Four Years The Turbo Was Rebuilt Two Time Because Of Leaking Oil. I Removed The Outlet To Intercooler Hose And Seen Some Oil In The Turbo Outlet Area And On Inside Of Hose. Is It Normal For Turbo To Pass Some Oil Or Is It Time For Another Rebuild.

Does the car still have the vent tube from the front of the passenger's valve cover to the turbo inlet bell?

I guess the question is how much oil is "some". Having a great deal of oil in the intercooler is not normal. If the turbo was not rebuilt correctly, it may have a problem. Might be good to check for shaft end play.

the intercooler hose was alittle wet and in outlet bell of turbo there was enuff oil in ther to fill up a cap of a soda bottle.
