fuel pressure

I have a 87 gn with a hood mounted fuel pressure gauge. When I turn the ignition off my fuel pressure drops to about 5 psi. Shouldn't it stay up for a while then drop?

Normally, yes ...

Sounds like either:

Check valve in pump is leaking back into the tank
Leaking injector(s) ... this often results in slow start up when hot and rough running on initial start up
Leaking pressure regulator
