I purchased a simple on off switch and plan on installing a kill switch by splicing it into one of the wires that run under the door sill as described on this site. However, that article also says you can splice it into the trigger circuit if you have a hotwire kit (which I do). I don't know what the "trigger circuit" is and the RELAY.TXT that is mentioned in the article does not come up in the archive search. Will I need to install an in-line fuse for this or does the circuit breaker on the hotwire kit serve this purpose? I need some clarification please so I don't burn something up.
