Is there a chip I need to run 125 hp shot? I have a 93 street chip and a 108 race, planning on running 116 octane and 24lbs boost. I'm not sure of the timing on either chip.

That's a LOT boost and a LOT of juice. I'd reduce one or the other and run a reduced timing chip.

my race gas chip has 26 deg I am going to make all the first runs on a dyno starting with a 50 shot I was planning on running 116 octane. Is the timing in this chip to high? If so what do you suggest. Could my 93 street chip be better?

Note that the oxygen content of nitrous increases when heated. (You've heard of 'bottle warmers', right?) So there is a very good chance your boost will increase on the silly spray. Possibly quite a bit. Ken has used it...in the past. Search the archives. You go in with 24, you'll be at 30 or more at the end of a shot...until your gaskets let go. Do a little light reading on boost and juice before you tango on that end of the floor.

Yeah I know that from talking with ken Awhile back so I was gonna start at around 12lbs and gradually increase the boost on a couple dyno runs and stay way rich. and since the fuel jet for the setup is set for 42lbs fuel pressure it willonly get richer throughout the run.(hopefully). The good thing is the guy at the dyno shop has a tr with 125 shot and he setup with the dyno and said his fuel has been around 10.5 and power about 500rwhp. I'm hoping to get more than him since he doesn't have heads and the right cam. I'm shooting for 550 or so 600 would be great.

Sounds like a nice cautious way to approach it ... I think even a little less timing might work a bit better (and allow a little more boost to go with the juice). I'd want to see 22-24 degrees of timing myself.

Also, the gas hits NOW ... no spool up, so it's kind of rough on stuff if it's off a bit. You can be in trouble before you can catch it... that's why I like the way you plan to sneak up on it. Be sure to have a WB unit and monitor A/F... the jetting charts aren't very accurate from my experience.

I would never try to just run and see on this type of setup. So i'm gonna be real careful and if 25 0r 50 is the limit than so be it. I may just spray to get out of the hole. How about the race gas 116 not a problem with the spray?

I think the good gas is a "cushion" and gives you a little extra safety margin.

sweet, I'll post my results. I'll be on the dyno on the 28th weather permitting.
