I see that a lot of chips come with a suggested Fuel pressure setting. What part of the chip controls this?

the chip /ecm doest control the fuel pressure.
You need an adjustable fuel pressure regulator to adjust it.

For starters. This will tell you how to set fuel pressure.

I guess I explained it wrong. I have an adjustable FP regulator and know how to adjust it. What I was wondering was what setting in the chip determines the initial Fuel Pressure setpoint (i.e. Stock Chip ~28psi, Thrasher ~43psi, etc.). Thanks in advance, Curt.

injector duty cycle. Pulse with width, load.. all kinds of things

One thing to clarify ... make sure you are setting the pressure with NO VACUUM to the top of the regulator. Manifold vacuum will alter the differential pressure across the injectors.

You are looking for a base setting. The calibrator uses this for injector flow calculations and sets up the base fueling maps from this.
