Is there ant way of testing a ECM. I have crank signal to the ecm but, no injector pulse or spark. Both the ECM and prom chip are fairly new. I do get the 12 code from the ecm. I have Turbo Link on the way. Will this help me find out if I have a bad computer or chip? Thanks!!

Sounds like the crank sensor.

Could possibly be short/ bad wire in the igntion module wiring.
Have had this prob before.
Might try moving the harness wires around first.
If it's touching anything might fire.
Mine was down underneath in the wiring harness.

Thanks again! It was a loose wire connector. In my first thread I said I was getting crank signal. I was not. I was getting cam signal (I was on the wrong wire). I have tried two crank sensors and I have a third on the way. My question is, if I pull the sensor out and probe the B wire (I am now getting a constant 4.9 to 5 volts) and pass a piece of metal between the grooves on the sensor should I see a voltage change? I am getting 12 volts on the A wire and I do have a good ground. The other question I have, is , are the sensors for the 85's the same as the 86-87's as far as the wiring at the sensor? Thanks!!
