What type of power steering fluid?

Mine is looking pretty dingy and orange colored. What type of fluid do our cars require?

Anyone? I ask because I know some vehicles don't use actual power steering fluid, such as my Ford which uses transmission fluid.

The GM recommended fluid is spec'ed in the owner's manual (too lazy to go out an look :D)

I think it's just common PS fluid...
