has any one replaced the input shaft seal to steering gear box.is there any info on this site on prcedure thanks?

IF YOUR TALKING WHERE THE PITMAN ARM IS: PULL THE ARM OFF THEN REMOVE THE SNAP RING PUT LARGE PAN UNDER THEN START WHILE TURNING WHEEL SEAL WILL NORMALLY BLOW OUT CLEAN GROVES AND SURFACES USE A LARGE SOCKET AND LIGHTLY HIT UNTIL SEAL SEATS INSTALL SNAP RING DIABLE
ING. AND CRANK OVER WHILE TURNING WHEEL < WHILE FILLING SYS. GETS AIR OUT> CLEAN HER UP AND YOUR ALL DONE HTH :popcorn2:

first of all thanks for reply.but iam talking about input shaft seal ,where steering wheel shaft goues into gear box? any help is always apreciated!!!

SORRY BOSS I HAVE NEVER HAD ONE APART UP STAIRS ONLY HAVE REPLCED UNITS WITH OTHER LEAKS WITH REMANS :dunno:
BUT I WOULD REMOVE IT FROM THE VECH AND FOLLOW SHOP MANUAL :ugh:
