hello I Recently Purchased a 1985 regal, now into intrested in turning it into a t-type regal or possibly GN "clone" are there any tips or information on what the best way to go about doing so???? thanks!!

T-Type clone? So you just want to add wheels, suspension, and quick ratio steering? Not too hard. Or are you looking for the turbo V6 powertrain, too?

Sounds like the whole enchilada to me. Probably better off just buying a complete car to begin with.

I would have to agree.
I have already tried to make one car into something it's not.
It's not worth the effort, and you will end up spending just as much money (if not more) than if you just bought the real thing in the first place.

I agree with the powertrain swap would cost ya more than an outright buy, but to change the appearence to a ttype and stick a chebby 350 (cheap and everywhere) in it wouldn't be to bad price wise if ya wanted.Find a cutlass same approx. year and do it, nice bodystyle and there more plentifull (cheaper), they had 442s in that era also.
