Are these units very heplful? Looks simple to install but will it enhance performance? Any ideas where you mount the small black box with the lights? Thanks Speed1

Don't bother with it. As long as you can get .42-.46 at idle and >4.00 at WOT you'll be fine. They don't enhance performance. Spend your money elsewhere. I'll sell you mine for $20 if your still not convinced. :loll:

I'd suggest >4.5 at WOT. May take some massaging of the TPS unit to get that. Please DO NOT install the TPS-TEC unit. It is likely the sole item from Casper's that I find issue with. Doing things right is better than installing a 'crutch'.

Thanks again I did not put it on at all . So how about the fuel pump hotwire thing they sell ? Is that a good $40.00 investment?? Details my car sees about 2K a year maybe it has 98K original add-ons are as follows 2-3/4 mandrel exhaust with 3 in DP & test pipe , TA-49 ,42 lb inj, rjc power plate, chip from Eric M, walboro fp,tcc switch,& other stuff. At the dyno before I switched chips I only got about 305 to the rear wheels cruddy I think--it was way lean so next time it should be a lot better

This should have been a separate thread. Helps those searching for answers.

The 'hot wire' kit is a great piece and is highly recommended.

Hotwiring of the fuel pump is a must. This has been said over and over, but the factory wiring is poo-poo as there are like 6-7 wiring connectors that the voltage must pass through on it's way back to the pump.
