Anybody out there know much about the Hydroboost. We replaced our original one because it was leaking. We got a remanufactured one from Rock Auto, and now we have brakes that go to the floor, it wont even hold the car steady when doing brake torques. We did the whole bleading stuff, and it helped a fraction, but still not normal? Any body have any clues???

Brake pedal going to the floor is but one issue...bad master cylinder. At least as far as my experiences have told me. If someone knows more, I would hope they would chime in.

If it was part of the reman setup you purchased, send it back. The seals are bad or incorrect for the application. Sounds crazy, but it can happen.

I will try to find the name of the fellow I saw that specialized in these and post it up.

... also, did you bleed the Master on the bench (if you got a new one)?

It needs to be bled first and then installed and THEN the calipers and wheel cylinders are bled.

Oh yes. :duh: This is a most important part of the procedure.

Sorry, I suffer from 'mental pause'
