rear body mounts not to good

my rear body mounts have seen better days (rotted out and not connected to any thing) wats the cheap way to fix them and wats the right way...me and my dad were thinking some sheet metal work and hockey pucks (my dad is good with metal/ welding)

The hockey puck approach has been used before and works. New bushings aren't that expensive though, so you might just want to pick some up.
