Hi, I currently have a 'Extender' chip along with a MAFTranslator and LS1 3.5" Maf, my question is as follows,
Is this the only brand of chip i can use with the Maft as the chip i currently have is programmed for 96octane fuel as it has 21 Degrees of spark advance in low gear and 19 degrees of spark advance in high gear , also according to the paperwork i have on the chip it programmed for 100/95% wastegate operation in low/high gear which is 18-20psi of boost, i would prefer about 15-16psi of boost as i have just replaced the head gaskets and dont plan on doing it again any time soon. the car has run 13.0's @100-102mph in my ownership i say my ownership as i havent actually run the car yet as i lent it to my brother who then decided it would be a good idea if he raced it for me and promptly wasted the head gaskets !
Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
