1982 Turbo T-Type Rear

Is a rear end out of a 1982 Turbo Regal T-Type with a carb a 8.5?

I believe they still used a 7.5" at that time.

Yep, 7.5" for 1982. If it came out of a carb-turbo it should be a 3.08 ratio. Might even be 3.23 as that was part of the optional sport performance package in that year.

1984 to 1987 is your magic year for cutlas 442 and GN t-type rears. once you compare them side to side you will with out a doubt see the difference. Jim
